I think a lot of us are doctrinaire haters. Oops. By us I mean them. The ones that aren't us. The ASUC voted to divest from 2 countries doing business in Israel last night. Where you there?
All this divest from doing business with companys with Israeli connections! Then get rid of all your computers! Intel is there and many other high tech companies.
I have a hard time with the BDS concept in general. Many (most ) Israeli companies employ Arabs, so any economic downturn in Israel will affect the people you are trying to help. Boycotts, sanctions and divestment generally hurt the most disenfranchised in a society- children, minorities, women..... Its an overall bad idea . Didn't Iraqi boycotts cost the lives of 600,000 iraqi children?
